About this Event

A free, family-friendly walk bringing neighbors of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs together for kindness, respect, and understanding.

Organized by local service clubs, this walk is a celebration of our shared humanity and a reminder that peace begins with connection.

Our mission: to build unity, compassion, and community—one step at a time.

Learn more about

  • Start: Heritage Oak Park, 875 Quest Parkway
  • Finish: Bell Park, 405 S Parkwest Dr

What to Expect
  • Peace in Action - Join in activities. Make 'Pinwheels for Peace' with the Girl Scouts. Assemble supply bags for unhoused people. And create Peace Signs to carry on the walk.
  • Opening Remarks from Cedar Park Mayor Jim Penniman-Morin and a representative of Williamson County Service Clubs (WiSC).
  • Community Walk (~1.6 miles) along Bell Blvd from Heritage Oak Park  to the new Cedar Park Public Library.  The route is flat and accessible.
  • Ask, Learn, Connect – If you’d like, write a fun fact on your name tag. Then join guided icebreaker questions to spark curiosity, conversation, and understanding.

Bring friends, family, neighbors, or simply yourself. Your presence matters. Together, we can send a simple but powerful message: peace is possible when we walk alongside one another.

Organized By Williamson County Service Clubs (WiSC)
