❤️A Magical Afternoon of Love and Lore📖
Step into a world where love stories unfold under starlit skies, kingdoms rise and fall on whispered promises, and magic binds hearts as tightly as fate. This adults-only (21+) trivia-themed train ride blends the enchantment of fantasy with the passion of romance—perfect for fans of epic adventures, forbidden love, star-crossed couples, and the spellbinding worlds of romantasy books, films, and shows. To heighten the magic, we invite you to come dressed as your favorite character or in your most enchanting attire!
Over five rounds of trivia, you and your team of up to four will test your knowledge of legendary lovers, magical realms, and the tropes that make romantasy so irresistible. Compete against fellow passengers for prizes and the prestigious title of ASTA Trivia Champion!
Onboard, enjoy a lively atmosphere with drinks available for purchase, including beer, wine, and a signature cocktail in the Cedar Park concession car.
Tickets Include:
- Seat in a vintage lounge car
- Special snack
- Complimentary coffee, tea, and water (Additional snacks, drinks, and alcoholic beverages available for purchase)
Trivia Info:
- 5 total rounds of trivia (10 questions per round, including a Train Trivia bonus)
- First 3 rounds: teams compete within their own cars
- After a short break: final 2 rounds determine the top team of each car and the overall Trivia Champion
- Prizes awarded to the top team in each car and the top three teams across the train
- Grand Champion team members each win a free ticket to our next trivia night to defend their title!
Schedule:
- Doors open: 1:00 PM (please arrive 1 hour before departure)
- Boarding: 1:15–1:40 PM (train cannot wait for late arrivals)
- Departure: 2:00 PM
- Return: 5:00 PM
Train Ride Info:
- Only adults 21 years or older may attend
- 44-mile round-trip along the 3-hour Bertram Flyer route
- Departs from Cedar Park Depot (401 E. Whitestone Blvd, Ste C-100, Cedar Park, TX 78613)
- Vintage railcars from the 1930s–1950s, pulled by a historic diesel locomotive
- Experience the nostalgic charm and rhythmic sounds of classic rail travel
Due to the unique nature of our nonprofit railroad operations, tickets are non-refundable, and no discounts are available for this special event.
To ensure the best experience for all, we ask groups of two to avoid selecting seats that face each other. If chosen, we may need to reassign them so you remain seated together.
