The land at Terra Nova Center is honored to host Sweat Lodge Ceremonies this coming weekend, and the community is welcome.
A Sweat Lodge is a sacred purification ceremony rooted in connection to the Earth, to the Sacred, and to one another. This ceremony will be led by Yona Frenchhawk, a Cherokee Wisdom Keeper and Ceremonialist, and is open to all those who feel called to participate. We will be hosting a Sweat Lodge on both February 28th and March 1st. The Sweat Lodge will be followed by a potluck style feast, further deepening the experience and community connection.
