Info: 1) Coal Creek Trail
This 3.4-mile multi-use trail runs from Bicentennial Park through Cedar City, following Coal Creek. It features underpasses, benches, and scenic views, making it ideal for a leisurely walk or bike ride.
2) Cedar Canyon Walking Trail
A paved 2-mile trail that follows Coal Creek into Cedar Canyon. Accessible from multiple points, it offers a peaceful setting with drinking fountains and benches.
3) Fiddlers Canyon Trail
A short 0.77-mile trail located near the Fiddlers Canyon area, suitable for a quick hike or walk.
Info: 1) Thor’s Hideout Trail
A 3.2-mile moderate trail through red rock hills east of Cedar City, offering scenic views of the surrounding landscape.
2) Red Hollow Trail
A 3.3-mile out-and-back trail starting in Cedar Canyon, featuring shaded paths and views of the red hills. It's part of the Thunderbird Canyon Trail System, allowing for extended hikes.
3) Alex Canyon Trail
A 1-mile trail above the Cedar City Golf Course, offering a quick hike with views of the canyon and Cedar City.
Info: 1) Cascade Falls Trail
Located on the Markagunt Plateau, this trail leads to a unique waterfall where water disappears into a lava tube and reemerges dramatically. The hike offers views of Zion National Park.
2) Bristlecone Pine Trail
A 0.6-mile loop trail that passes through ancient bristlecone pines and offers views of Zion National Park. It's located east of the Zion Overlook on Highway 14.
3) Duck Creek and Aspen Mirror Pond Trails
Short, flat trails near Duck Creek Village, perfect for a leisurely walk around alpine lakes surrounded by pine forests.
