Try Taiji Boxing with US!

We offer an introductory, four-class progressive course (October 16, 23, 30, and November 6) for those interested in trying Taiji Boxing. The incredible $60 ticket price covers all four classes, you can pay through Eventbrite or in person at school.

We will cover the following topics:

1. Foundation qigong sequence, correct breathing, and synchronization of breathing with movement for relaxation and qi development.
2. and seven external and internal alignments. Standing meditation is an ancient technique for improving posture and emotional health.
3. Methods of explosive striking (fa-jing) at vulnerable points (dim mak) presented at a basic level. These techniques improve self-defense chances against a bigger opponent.
4. Escapes from grabs and chokes as a part of your self-defense skill set.

Before our introductory course starts, we will hold a social event on October 11th where you can meet our instructors and students and watch a video about the modern view on Dim Mak produced by World Taiji Boxing Association. For those who register for the course at this social event, we have a special $40 discount price for the entire introductory course.
