Greater Tuna is an irreverent satire on politics and family in middle America. It is a howlingly funny play about the folks in the small town of Tuna, Texas. The wacky inhabitants of this town are played by two skillful, transformative actors who must change parts at a rather breakneck speed and use inventive voicework. The director is looking for two outstanding, versatile, and hilarious actors (any gender) to take on 20+ quirky characters. The actors must be able to play across genders, ages, and species.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script and some movement. Texas accent upon request. No pre-prepared monologues are necessary.
