Monarch Butterfly Tag & Release

Join us for a one-of-a-kind Monarch Tag & Release event at Twin Oast Brewing! This free, family-friendly experience lets guests become citizen scientists for the day as we tag monarch butterflies during their awe-inspiring migration across Lake Erie on their way to Mexico.

Led by Jackie from Kelleys Island Schools Field Station, you’ll get an up-close look at these majestic pollinators and learn about their journey, importance in the ecosystem, and how tagging helps track their migration. Then, witness the magic as we gently tag and release them into the wild.

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of education, conservation, and community connection—no registration required!
