Opportunity of learning:
Traditional Wu 武 style Taijiquan – master Zhai Weichuan’s branch.
The classes will focus on learning master Zhai Weichuan’s Wububafa form (Five steps, eight methods) with applications and related basic tui shou drills.
Learning in a small group, tuition in English.
4 hours of training/day (2 hours class in the morning and 2 hours class in afternoon).
Fee:
if paying by number of classes in which you will participate: 30 Euro/class,
paying lump sum for all classes: 200 Euro.
Training place:
Outdoors, the area of Torre Talao in Scalea, near the beach.
Travel:
The nearest airporst are Naples and Lamezia Terme. From there you can take train. It takes about 2.5 hour from Naples to Scalea or about 1.5 hour from Lamezia Terme to Scalea.
Accomodation:
Apart from hotels, good option is booking a whole private appartment, especially if you come with family or want to share it with other participants. There are offeres on Booking.com and other sites. There are also groups on Facebook (in Italian, English or other languages where you can find good offers. The typical price for one week stay in September is around 300 Euro. If you are not planning coming by car or renting a car, the most convenient locations will be in the center of Scalea, somewhere near Torre Taleo, railwai station etc. Apartments located further away or higher on the hills will not be convenient without a car.
