COMIC Steve 'Mudflap' McGrew (the hellbent southern gent) has been featured on Comedy Central in his own half hour special. He can be heard on 24/7 Comedy and on Sirius XM radio. Mudflap has released several comedy CDs, his latest, Toxic Masculinity, is now available on iTunes. He is a regular at The Laugh Factory in Las Vegas. When McGrew lands on stage you can expect an instantaneously likable, high energy, and rapid fire show. His material is drawn from everyday life situations, and is a hybrid of character work, storytelling and one liner jabs to the funny bone. His “crossover” comedy style appeals to people from all walks of life, age groups, and ethnic backgrounds. Steve 'Mudflap' McGrew is also in high demand for comedy clubs and casino shows all around the country. Steve also performs regularly in London and around the UK. Additionally, McGrew has opened concerts for several rock and country artists. Steve was an award winning morning radio Dj, with 3 CMAs!
COMIC Janae Burris is a comedian and actor in Denver Colorado. She is a South Los Angeles native and a California Institute of the Arts alumna. SInce moving to Colorado Janae has worked with Local Theater Company, Colorado Shakespeare Fest & The Denver Center for Performing Arts. She’s opened for nationally touring comics Michael Che, Roy Wood Jr. and Gary Gulman, and has been featured at Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival and High Plains Comedy Festival in Denver. She is the the 2016 Comedy Works New Faces Champion and a regular performer at both Comedy Works locations in Denver. See her this summer at Red Rocks Amphitheater in her third appearance at Film on the Rocks.
COMIC Rick Bryan, is a resilient and comedic force hailing from Denver, CO, he blends humor with hope as he shares stories of overcoming adversity through laughter. Surviving cancer and navigating a tumultuous past that involved growing up in the system. Rick's experiences have shaped his comedic style rooted in resilience and connection. Making audiences laugh at life's challenges while headlining at renowned clubs nationwide and opening for top comedy acts, Rick not only entertains but inspires others to find joy in any situation. His journey from hardship to hilarity serves as a beacon of hope for those following in his footsteps, advocating against the youth-to-prison pipeline one punchline at a time.
HOST/COMIC Terri Barton Gregg is host of the place to be!!! She’s the Queen of this scene and curator of outstanding nights of stand-up comedy. Terri tells funny jokes and stories about her supremely smart husband, very funny father and most adorable granddaughter is the proprietor of "Hold Please Productions". Get there early, meet Terri, hug, laugh and then talk about something very important and central to a great night enjoying a comedy show. You gotta talk to Terri about what you’re having for dinner. It’s important. A good audience should be fed with great food, libations and fun!!
