In recognition of upcoming Summer and potential extreme weather events, MASG, CCH and MASC are co-hosting an Emergency Preparation and Climate Resilience mini-expo at the Community Lunch on Tuesday 9th December.
What: Great opportunity to talk with people from local emergency services about emergency planning for your family. Plus connect with agencies who can share practical information about how to make your home more comfortable and safe for your health over summer, to be more climate resilient in extreme weather - heat, flooding, storms.
Local services/agencies/organisations attending to share info, include: local CFAs, Red Cross, Castlemaine Institute (with their climate resilient homes project), SES, LMPHU, My Home Network, Mount Alexander Shire Council (MASC), Mount Alexander Sustainability Group (MASG), Mount Alexander Disability Advocacy Group (MASDAG), Castlemaine Community House, and possibly more
