For this class you will need to bring your own quilt, comforter, chenille bedspread, or even a moving blanket. We do not provide materials for this class.
This class requires sewing machine experience and working with garment patterns. Please consider this before registering.

It's all the rage right now-- quilted jackets and coats! We will be using a pattern we developed in-house. It features dolman sleeves and a shawl collar. Super easy construction, a fun environment and voila- a jacket at the end!
Bring a twin size (or larger) quilt, moving blanket, blanket or thin rug to repurpose into a jacket that is perfect for San Antonio's cool fall days. Plus the added bonus that you can say, "I made this!"
Basic sewing machine experience is required

Day 1: Intro to pattern reading, take measurements, choose correct pattern. Review of pattern layout on fabric. Discuss layout options for desired aesthetic of finished jacket. Cut out fabric. "Finish" edges of cut pieces.
Day 2: Begin assembly of jacket.
Day 3: Continue assembly; add pockets
