How marvelous is MacAllister Park? If you’ve been there, you know! If you haven’t, what’s holding you back?
Come join us as we check out all the details of MacAllister Park in North San Antonio! We will take a hike and explore different spots of the park, using skills like orienteering, compasses, and GeoCaching! This is a great way to explore nature right here in our very own home city!
Our host for this event is Fredericksburg local DJ and nature explorer Richard Zowie!
Please park in the parking lot at the Buckhorn Road entrance the multipurpose field West pavilion.
Everyone should bring plenty of water and a snack. Sunscreen spray is also a good idea. Please be sure your cell phones are well charged, or bring a portable charger with you.
Please be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots with cotton socks. Our host will bring a first aid kit, and you are welcome to bring one as well if you wish! You never know what you encounter in the woods.
Feel free to contact event host Richard Zowie at 210-992-4019 with any questions or concerns.
