Hi everyone, my name's Khemii. I'm new to this specific group and city, but I am not new to this mission. I care deeply about our community, and that passion comes from being personally affected by the housing crisis in years prior.
I absolutely hate to see anyone go without a warm place to sit and a hot plate of food to eat—especially during the holidays.
That's why I'm launching the Casper Compassion Project: the first of many two-day missions to bring warmth, support and dignity back to over 500 of our unhoused and struggling neighbors, single parents, and anyone else in need on Nov 27th & 28th.
The honest truth?
We are currently 0% ready.
THE CRITICAL BLOCKER: URGENT VENUE NEED
This entire project is stalled until we find a home. Finding a large facility is our #1 priority.
WHAT WE NEED: A community hall, church, or organization willing to DONATE a facility with a LARGE KITCHEN and dining area for our two days of service.
DATES: Nov 27th 11 AM - 4 PM (Feast) and Nov 28th 10 AM - 4 PM (Kit Assembly). We will pass out kits after 4 PM!
