“Love, Loss and What I Wore” is a play of monologues and ensemble pieces by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron and based on the book by Ilene Beckerman.
Village Hall Players are seeking female actors 18+ of any age, size, background or experience level to audition for this funny and moving play about women, clothes and memory, covering all the important subjects - mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses, and why we only wear black.
This production will begin rehearsals in January, with read-throughs in December, for performances in March 2026, to coincide with International Women’s Day and VHP’s 15th anniversary. Rehearsals will be held Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings, with not all cast members needed for all rehearsals until the weeks leading up to performances.
Note actors will be able to have a script on stage for performances, so this is a great opportunity for actors who may not feel like memorisation is their strongest suit.
