Seed Starting Basics

Spend a morning at the farm learning the basics of seed starting. This lecture/discussion class will detail both soil blocking and cell tray planting methods. Learn how to properly plant seeds, germinate, and grow into healthy seedlings that will be strong and ready for planting out in your garden. We'll also go over various resources for finding quality soil and starter medium, seeds and other plantings materials. If you've struggled with seed starting in the past, now is your chance to ask questions and troubleshoot!

Light refreshments will be served.

*This is a lecture course with the opportunity for hands experimentation. You will not be planting seeds to take home.
