Archery, including the Schutzenfest!!
Archery ranges will open at 10:00 am with novelty shoots and tournaments running throughout the day.
• The Schutzenfest will be a 3D Woods Walk consisting of 10 stations at varying distances and angles. Fun for all ages and skill levels. There is woods involved. Wear proper foot gear and leg coverings. And bring bug spray.
• Our novelty tournament will be similar to a bear-pit style, with archers shooting in a one-on-one "duel" throughout the day. Archers will be awarded one bead for each challenge, one bead for a win and two beads for a win at targets 30 yds and beyond. A Bonus bead if you challenge yourself to try thrown weapons and atlatl. The winner will be the one to acquire the most beads.
• Youth Archery: Most of the targets are youth-friendly. Loaner gear is available for kids ages 5-18. Special participation prizes for all kids.
We will also have armored combat and rapier combat activities thoughout the day.
