Saturday Splash Course: Hofgut Falkenstein

Stop in Saturday afternoon and try the latest arrivals from one of the most sought-after estates in Germany (and probably all of Europe), Hofgut Falkenstein!
I learned of these wines several years ago when our importer friends Piedmont Wine Imports brought them to NC. They become instant favorites and they sold out far too fast (so it goes when the wine comes from a tiny estate run by a father and son who do EVERYTHING by hand). These wines have gone on to attain cult status in the fine wine world. That means they're hard to get; luckily, our local importers work even harder. A case each of these spectacular wines have just arrived and I'm excited to share them with you. If you think Riesling is just sweet wine for your nana, stop in and have a taste of these. Your mind (and palate) will be blown away.
