Holiday Ukrainian Egg Workshop
Discover the timeless beauty and symbolism of Ukrainian eggs (pysanky) in this hands-on holiday workshop. Participants will learn the traditional art of decorating eggs using wax-resist (batik) techniques, vibrant dyes, and intricate patterns passed down for generations.
Our instructor will guide you step by step through the process—beginning with simple designs and progressing to more detailed motifs. Along the way, you’ll explore the cultural and spiritual meanings behind the colors and symbols, making this a creative experience that connects art with tradition.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will have their own beautifully decorated Ukrainian egg to treasure or share as a meaningful holiday gift.
