Do Owls Poop?

Join City of Carrollton Parks and Recreation to dissect an owl pellet!

Things like bones, fur, teeth, and feathers cannot be digested by owls. These indigestible bits are compressed into a pellet, which is regurgitated by the owl. We can learn a lot about owls by dissecting their pellets.

Owl pellets have been heat-treated and are completely sterile.

Ages: 5-12

Space is limited. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting 15 minutes before the program.
