The Pelvic Floor Workshop for Moms

Join Mary (pre/postnatal yoga teacher and certified pre/postnatal corrective exercise specialist) for a 3 hour workshop on how birth impacts your pelvic floor, and how yoga can help. We will start with a 45-minute discussion about why your pelvic floor is important, what happens to your pelvic floor during pregnancy and birth, what you can do afterward to prevent or heal common pelvic floor problems, such as prolapse, leaking, constipation and pain in your hips or lower back. The workshop will end with a 65-minute yoga practice focused on creating balance in your pelvic floor.

This workshop is for you if:
-you’re currently pregnant or planning a pregnancy
-you’ve been pregnant before
-you’re newly postpartum
-you’ve given birth (doesn't matter when)
-you’ve had a Cesarean
-you gave birth vaginally
-you have symptoms of pelvic dysfunction (leaking, constipation, painful sex, prolapse, hip pain)
-you want to know how to maintain a healthy pelvic floor
