15 YRS bday + p-lot DISCO + $1 bin beat flip contest !!!

A BIRTHDAY PARTY / A DANCE / A MUSIC CONTEST

1 - can't believe it but we're turning 15. huge thanks to our staff (past & present), our community, our customers, our wonderful location, fair landlords, etc. come help us celebrate with dancing, hangs, refreshments, and maybe some hose play NOON-6 during CARRBORO MUSIC FEST!

2 - a parking lot dance with sound system by DIFFUSE AUDIO featuring some of our favorite area DJs and including a 4-way 2-hour B2B from NIGHTLIGHT's beloved DISCO SWEAT crew. full lineup and details asap but we'll be bopping in the parking lot out back all afternoon on sunday. for those who are following the lore, this will be HOSE PLAY #2. REFRESHMENTS PROVIDED!

3 - DOLLAR BIN - sample / beat flip / productions CONTEST... all you gotta do: grab one or more dollar bin jamz from the shop (record, cd, tape, all fair game), TAKE A SELFIE WITH YOUR RECORD(S) IN THE SHOP, use samples from those jams to create some kinda music (additional sounds allowed but judges will consider your use of your dollar fodder). SUBMIT YOUR CREATIONS by NOVEMBER 1 to ethan @ alldayrecords dot com with the subject DOLLAR BIN CONTEST. we will figure out a blind judging system and plan a listening party to share all as well as winners. prizes will be gift certificates. SPREAD THE WORD !!!!
