Pay What You Can Canteen

What does this mean?

Pay-what-you-can means just that - if you can afford the suggested price, please pay that. If you can afford to donate more and pay for someone else’s meal, you can do that too. And if times are tight, take a little wooden voucher off the wall in the entrance and hand that to your server and your entire meal will be free.

How does it work?

Cegin Hedyn collects high-quality surplus food from Fareshare, from local farmers, growers and businesses, which we cook fresh and serve to you in our canteen. We’re supported by volunteers and donations, so we can keep costs down, ensuring everyone has access to good food in a warm, welcoming space.

Where are we?

We’re on Lammas Street, under the English Baptist church. We look forward to meeting you!
