When a person’s biological parents are unknown, often due to circumstances such as adoption, lack of birth documentation, or unclear paternity, investigative genetic genealogy may provide solutions when DNA tests fail to directly identify a parent. This presentation will explore methods for successfully identifying parentage, as well as the obstacles that can impede progress in certain cases.
