We've all heard of dementia, but do we truly understand it?
Powered by Dementia Live, reTHINK Dementia is a high impact simulation experience that immerses participants into life with dementia resulting in a deeper understanding of what it's like to live with cognitive impairment and sensory change.
In a safe and controlled environment, you may participate or simply observe others go through an immersive simulation.
This workshop helps participants gain a first-hand understanding of the anxiety, isolation, frustration, confusion and other feelings experienced by someone living with dementia.
The simulation uniquely walks participants from the "AHA" moment to empowering care partners, friends and professionals with tools to improve communication, care processes, relationship building and environment.
Join us from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at CommonGrounds Workplace (Parking: 6511 Avenida Encinas. Carlsbad, CA 92011)
