This year's theme is about the Transcendentals, the ultimate properties of being—Truth, Goodness, and Beauty—that are found in every being and are desired by humans. In the opening talk, "How Liturgy and Theology work together", Fr. Peter Adrian, O. Praem, shares his insight on this topic as a Norbertine Priest from 3:30 to 4:15. He will answer questions before the 4:30 Rosary (as time permits). Move from the Hall and enter the church for listening to the Canticle Schola as the congregation prepares for 5pm Mass. Celebrate a Latin Novus Ordo Mass with Fr. Raymond Philip Napuli with timeless and inspirational Sacred music. Move to the St. Elizabeth Hall at 6:30 for a cocktail hour and Dinner at 7pm. Hear Fr. Raymond Philip's inspirational Keynote address about how Sacred Music influenced his vocation as a Diocean Priest. Hear also from several organizations in Southern California that are promoting The Good, The True, and The Beautiful in their apostolates. Fellowship and dine with other Catholics on a Surf and Turf cuisine prepared by Chef Michel Malécot of the The French Gourmet. Help support these organizations and make this an Annual Event in San Diego....
Info: Hear from local organizations doing good work to promote the Transcendentals. St. Michael's Abbey, Catholic Action for Faith and Family, Canticle, Sit Stand Kneel Partners, and the San Diego Community Foundation will share with you about their mission.
Also check out other Food & Drink events in Carlsbad.
