Memory Weaving Workshop

Come create a beautiful small tapestry to honor a special memory you hold, or memorialize a loved one. Memory Weaving is a process of weaving items that symbolize an important event in your life. Its a creative and therapeutic way to come together as a small group. You will receive your own handmade minnow loom and weaving tool, as well as a skein of yarn (from the Shady Grove sheep) to take home. There will be other yarn, and items found in nature for you to use as well. I encourage you to also bring some scraps of fabric or other items that remind you of your loved one or of the special memory you will be weaving. This workshop will include sharing stories and memories as we weave together in a circle of community. Refreshments included. Held rain or shine, either outside under the trees, or inside the farmhouse. Come find your Peace!
