Discover the essentials of fall bulb planting at the Spring Blooms: Create Your Own Layered Bulb Garden workshop with the Penn State Master Gardeners of Cumberland County on Saturday, October 11, 9:30am-12:00pm, at the Penn State Extension office located at 310 Allen Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
Master Gardener Donna Ricketts will guide participants through selecting the right tools and hardy varieties, planting techniques, and timely care to ensure tulips, daffodils, crocuses, and hyacinths burst into colorful spring blooms. Following a guided tour of the Allen Road Alcove Garden featuring fall gardening practices to support wildlife, each participant will design their own layered bulb planter to take home.
