About the event

Pigeon Pit + Boom Boom Racoon + Nasty Fishmonger
Pigeon Pit -
Pigeon Pit is a collection of stories wrapped in sunburned skin and a brave heart from a small beach town. They evoke a honky-tonk held in a punk house living room, the Olympia band finds sparks of communal joy while sorting through the stress and grief of daily life offering bittersweet snapshots that stick with you long afterwards. Centered in the now, under a backdrop of rising global fascism and AI battling it out with reality, the band is focusing on how to keep sane and still love and have fun in these dark days. The band went into recording their fifth album, “Crazy Arms” after the busiest year since their founding. They toured for the first time as a full six-piece, played high-profile gigs, like their first Tiny Desk show, played with Laura Jane Grace, and toured Australia and New Zealand. Despite obvious signs of the band’s growing popularity, they still tapped into their DIY roots in recording this one, using a friend’s basement as their studio.

+ Boom Boom Racoon -
A scrappy, anarcho-acoustic DIY ska punk trio from Bristol. They describe themselves as 80% politics, 30% nonsense, and enjoy singing about everything from the Simpsons to biscuit heists to anti-fascism!
They have shared a stage with the likes of Days N Daze, Culture Shock, Random Hand, Sonic Boom Six and Jaya the Cat as well as having a residency in The Shamrock at Boomtown last year.

+ Nast Fishmoner

Rowdy, fist-raising hardcore folk from Bristol. Nasty Fishmonger play anti-austerity
anthems with a camaraderie and charm that is hard to resist. They play anti-austerity anthems and historical ballads with a camaraderie and charm that is hard to resist.

Since 2018, the band have been steadily building a loyal following, through support
slots with scene titans such as The Dreadnoughts, Ferocious Dog, Mad Dog Mcrae,
Bar Stool Preachers and Black Water County. They have also become firm festival
favourites after blistering sets at Boomtown, Shambala, Bearded Theory, Beautiful
Days and more.
