Christingle Service

All welcome, especially children! No booking is required.

The Christingle celebration is a great way to share the Christian story and to experience the joy and wonder of this well-loved tradition. Held in association with The Children's Society, to support their essential work with children facing life's harshest challenges.

Join us for this popular service where we'll provide a Christingle...

...an orange to represent the world...
...a red ribbon (or tape) to symbolise the love and blood of Christ...
...sweets and dried fruit to represent all of God’s creations...
and a lighted lit candle which represents Jesus’s light in the world, bringing hope to people living in darkness.

The Cathedral Cafe will remain open until the start of the service, for hot drinks, soft drinks, cakes and snacks.
