Ottawa Valley Hunt (OVH) invites you to kick up your boots at our Western Hunt and Dance Fundraiser, an exciting day of riding to hounds and/or evening of music and community celebration. Dress in your best Western OR English tack and attire, or any "Wenglish" variation!
Funds raised will support OVH’s ongoing operations and future success.
Morning – Western Ride to Hounds
Guests can cap for the day with OVH for a special combined rate of $70, which includes participation in the hunt (normally $100 for the rest of the fall season after this date!), an early supper, and admission to the dance. Suitable for all levels, including hilltoppers and newcomers.
Early evening - Chili dog dinner for riders and families
- available for purchase later while supplies last!
BEVERAGE BURROWS!
Donkey and Mule aided beverage service and photo booth!
Later Evening – Country Dance
The dance kicks off with a fun mix of classic and modern country music, beverages from our club bar, and dancing into the night, under the stars. Open to everyone!
Beverage burros will stick around as long as their patience does or until their handlers are ready to dance!

9:30 AM – Riders are mounted for a special Western themed stirrup cup
10:00 AM - Hunt leaves for 1-2 hours of riding to hounds!
5:30 PM – Dinner for Riders & guests
7:00 PM – “Doors” Open for Dance
7:30 PM–11:00 PM – Music and Dancing
