Blessing Of The Animals

Join TRUU at Colorado Animal Rescue (CARE) for a joyful outdoor celebration of our beloved animal companions. Bring your pets on leash (or in carriers) to receive an individual blessing, and we’ll also hold space to honor the memory of animals we’ve loved and lost. CARE staff will share about their mission, and shelter pets may join the gathering.

In partnership with CARE, we’ll also be collecting donations to support the animals in their care. Financial contributions are always welcome. High-need items include flat sheets, thin blankets, and new (or gently used) leashes and toys. Dog and cat treats are appreciated, and will also be shared with community members accessing CARE’s Pet Food Pantry. Any type of unopened pet food in its original packaging is also gratefully accepted.

Please bring your own chair if you’d like to sit during the service. Parking is available at CARE, the CMC Vet Tech Ranch, and the CMC Soccer Fields.

We’d love to share refreshments after the service—if you can, please bring some baked goods to contribute to the hospitality table.

Together, let’s celebrate the bonds of love and the interdependent web of life that connects us all.
