Join Holden Qigong certified teacher Beth Freewomon to practice Qigong and celebrate the newly arrived season of Spring. Through our movement practice we will lean into and learn about all things Spring, as they relate to the energies of the Wood element from the five element system of Chinese medicine.
Through our practice we will purge the stagnant energies of Winter (with a focus on the liver/gallbladder organs) and related emotional stagnation. We will cultivate the positive energies of the Wood element as well. We will tend to our inner vision and we will support our eyesight and nervous system. We will do this while practicing Qigong—through movement, healing sounds, healing colors, seasonal flows, standing postures and meditation. We will set intentions for the new season as well.
Advanced registration is highly encouraged as enrollment is limited due to being in a smaller space.
Beth Freewomon is the owner of The Open Hearth–Tools for Self-Healing (www.IAmTheOpenHearth.com). With her passion for holistic health and her confidence in the body’s self-healing capacity, she shares the practice of Qigong (AKA Chi Gong) with enthusiasm and the intention to empower. Not only is she certified as a Holden Qi Gong teacher, (by Lee Holden), she is an advanced student of Dr. Joe Dispenza, integrating the healing power of meditation and coherence into her own health and well-being practices. She currently lives in Santa Cruz, CA where she leads weekly in-person and online practices.
