This September, Cape Vincent is trying something new - and friendly! Every Wednesday, local businesses will open their doors for relaxed, drop-in style conversations with this year’s candidates. No speeches. No podiums. Just neighbors chatting with neighbors about what matters most in our community.
Come as you are - grab a coffee, a snack, or just a seat - and enjoy the chance to meet candidates in a welcoming, everyday setting. These conversations are all about approachability, openness, and the kind of small-town connection that makes Cape Vincent so special.
Schedule:
Sept 3 – HomeTown Meals, 11:30 AM
Sept 10 – Ann’s Fisherman’s Fare, 9:30 AM
Sept 17 – Cup of Joy Café, 3:00 PM
Sept 24 – Channel Marker 243, 6:00 PM
Whether you’re a mid-morning regular, an early luncher, or someone who loves a cozy café chat in the afternoon or evening, there’s a time and place for you.
👉 These gatherings are nonpartisan, welcoming to all, and meant to add a little neighborly warmth leading up to Meet the Candidates Night on October 1st.
So stop in, say hello, and be part of Cape Vincent’s newest tradition of open-door conversations. Because when community comes together, everyone’s voice matters."
