Geology Walk at Mount Agamenticus

What: Join us for a casual topography and geology-oriented walk of the Mount Agamenticus summit and Big A Trail. We’ll look at the geological formations and processes that helped create Mount A and the surrounding area. This program is FREE, but donations to the Friends of Mount Agamenticus are welcome! All ages, family-friendly.

Where: Meet outside the summit Learning Lodge.

When: Saturday, September 13, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The Learning Lodge opens to the public at noon, so please feel free to hang out and explore with us inside after the walk!

Who: Brian Smith is a former Middle-School Earth Science teacher and current Friend of Mount Agamenticus and Learning Lodge Docent.

Naomi is the Outreach and Education Coordinator for the Mount Agamenticus Conservation Program. She grew up with a Geologist dad and enjoys drawing and painting different rocks and minerals!
