Engineering: Part 1

Part 1 will be a discussion with prototype stations. Students will familarize themselves with mechanical energy, pivots, and Newtons Law of Motion. Students will then design and build a small protype from materials offered to take home. They may choose from either of the following
⭐️Catapult/Slingshot ⭐️ Washing machine/Compost bin
Each team will create a design, determine materials needed and build a prototype. Engeneering: Part 2 is BUILD DAY. Students will have the same build options only with life size kits! Parents who would like to help in build day please see Engineering part 2 for the volunteer sign up sheet! Both engineering classess will be team activities. Activity fee will be $15 per student and will cover materials needed for BOTH Engeering part 1 & 2. If you need assistance with payment please message me personally!
