Table Pairings
Both captains roll off.
The winner of this roll-off will then choose between being the Attacker or Defender. The defender will begin by placing the first player's list and selecting a table for that player to be assigned to.
The Attacker team captain will then place two players. These players can be on the same table or be split between the two tables.
After the Attacker team captain has placed two players, the first Defender captain will respond with two-player placements. These placements do not have to be on the same table.
Captains will place players alternating continuing with the Attacker until all players have been assigned.
Each pairing can only happen once during the event. For example if player 1 and player 2 on your team played together during the first round, that pairing is no longer possible. Player 1 may only be paired with players 3 or 4. Captains will be responsible for keeping track of this on the sheet provided.
Command Points
Command points will function as they do in 1v1 games. Each team will receive 1CP at the beginning of each turn, which will go into a pool from which both players can draw.
Any instance of CP gain such as Ultramarines Calgar or Eldar Wayleaper, your team can only benefit from one of these effects. This will also count toward your maximum extra CP gain for the turn so you may not discard a secondary for any additional.
