Join Native Son for an unforgettable private dinner with the undisputed Queen of Austin Americana – Kelly Willis – right here in downtown Canton, TX!
This is a legit big-deal, once-in-a-lifetime night: Kelly Willis is the woman Brad Paisley calls one of the greatest voices he’s ever heard, who had Dwight Yoakam begging to sing harmonies with her, and who spent years making stone-classic Texas Music with Bruce Robison... and she is coming to our 50-seat restaurant for one exclusive solo acoustic dinner show. Just 50 tickets. That’s it. When they’re gone, they’re gone forever.
Kelly’s story is pure Texas legend: discovered in Austin by Nanci Griffith, signed to MCA at barely 20, dropped by Nashville way too soon, then came roaring back with the landmark What I Deserve – the album that made critics from Rolling Stone to No Depression lose their minds and earned her a permanent throne in the Austin Music Hall of Fame. That honey-and-whiskey voice (the one Robert Christgau called “enormous”) still stops conversations dead, whether she’s singing heartbreakers, honky-tonk bangers, or the brand-new divorce carols she’s road-testing right now.
Expect all the hits you forgot you loved, a few stories that’ll make you laugh till your ribs hurt, and that voice filling every inch of our little joint like it was built for her. 50 seats. One stage. Zero strangers by the end of the night.
Seating is reserved and stupidly limited – once these sell out (and they will), your cousin’s gonna be real sad he waited. Kitchen’s slinging the full East Texas Food menu til 10pm, bar’s pouring strong, and the vibes are pure Lone Star magic.
Seating begins at 7pm. Show kicks at 8:00pm sharp. Meal & drinks not included with ticket. Want to slide in earlier or got questions? Hit Ryan Sumner at 469-583-6303.
Don’t sleep on this one, y’all – tell your people, grab your tickets, and let’s sell this thing out before breakfast tomorrow.
