About the event

💛Adopt a Warrior in Honor of Nicholas💛
The Adopt a Warrior Project started in May of 2023 after Nicholas DeLuca (Woodstock native) had a 5 week in patient stay at Scottish Rite. During that hospital stay he received the sweetest care package from a mother whose child was in cancer remission. Nicholas was diagnosed with a diffuse leptomeningeal glial neuronal brain and spinal cord tumor at age 2. He endured countless surgeries, chemotherapy protocols, and radiation during his 18 year battle.

During the summer of 2023 Nicholas and his mother delivered care packages at CHOA together. Nicholas ended his battle here on earth February 15, 2024. It is now his mother's mission to bless every room at CHOA with a care package in his honor. HOTWORX Canton will be matching 100% of every dollar raised in honor of Nicholas! 💛 Will you help us reach this goal?
