We are so excited to be back for the 2nd Annual Canton Empty Bowls! Last year we were able to help support our community and raise over $6,000. Help us make a bigger impact this year by participating in this heartwarming community event!
Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement that raises funds for food banks, soup kitchens, and other organizations working to end hunger. Local artists and craftspeople donate handcrafted bowls, and guests purchase a ticket to enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread.
This shared meal is meant to reflect the reality of food insecurity—reminding us that, for some in our community, a soup kitchen meal may be the only hot meal of the day.
Guests take home their bowl as a lasting reminder of the empty bowls that still exist in our community. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the following local organizations:
The Homeless Coalition of Cherokee County
Dominic’s Mission & Community Food Kitchen
Cherokee County Homeless Veteran Program
The bowls for this event are created by members of the Georgia Clay Council, a collective of ceramic artists and potters in Northwest Georgia, with additional bowls generously donated by other local artists.
Tickets are available online for $35 or $40 at the door.
Please help us get the word out by sharing this event and inviting your friends and neighbors.
