Intro To Journaling

Join us for Intro to Journaling, a welcoming, low-pressure creative writing workshop designed to help you explore journaling as a tool for self-expression, reflection, and connection.

Hosted by Courtney of Inspired Creative Writing Workshops at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, this workshop is perfect for beginners, curious creatives, and anyone who has ever thought, “I want to journal, but I don’t know where to start.”

This is not about perfect writing — it’s about showing up, putting pen to paper, and discovering what journaling can offer you.

Through gentle, guided prompts, we’ll introduce participants to the art of journaling, including:

• Simple journaling prompts to get you started
• Different journaling styles (reflection, gratitude, stream-of-consciousness journaling)
• How journaling can be used in therapeutic and self-supportive ways
• Writing as a tool for stress relief, clarity, and self-connection

You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with others in the community in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Sharing is always optional — listening and simply being present is just as welcome.
