Join us for International Observe The Moon Night, a global event organised by NASA. Observers from all over the world will be participating. We will have a telescope and binoculars for people to observe the Moon, or bring your own if you can. Our events are very informal, come and go as you please. We just ask that you sign in on arrival so we have a record of who was on site.

FINDING THE SITE
Drive onto the university campus along University Way, the the mini-roundabout near the Gulbenkian Theatre. Turn on to Park Wood Road (note: 20 mph speed limit) and follow it all the way to the end. Near the end you will find the nursery building where you can park. The site is about 100m further along the road.
Alternatively, if you are hauling equipment or have limited mobility, take the sharp left turn and continue about another 100m where you will find Kent Community Oasis Garden (KCOG) and opposite there is a small car park at Hoath Park.
Parking is not controlled after 5pm, and therefore free.
Please sign in on arrival at the KCOG "potting shed". There will be someone there to direct you to the observing site.
