Cane Hill After Dark 2025

Join us for the fourth annual Cane Hill After Dark! 🌒

The collective imagination of Ozark old-timers was populated with creatures fierce and fantastical. In the spirit of Halloween, Brooks Blevins will reacquaint us with some of those monsters and tell us why we still know about them even if we didn’t grow up telling stories about them around the campfire.

🔥☕ Visitors will also have a chance to enjoy fireside refreshments. This event is for adults 21+.

🎤 About the Speaker:
Brooks Blevins is the Noel Boyd Professor of Ozarks Studies at Missouri State University in Springfield. He has written or edited more than a dozen books, including the trilogy A History of the Ozarks. He continues to tell stories about the region’s past on his bi-weekly podcast The Old Ozarks.
