While working as a janitor at MIT, Will Hunting (Matt Damon), a working-class genius with a troubled past, anonymously solves complex maths equations. Discovered by a professor, he finds himself in therapy with Sean Maguire (Robin Williams).

This powerful examination of trauma, emotional vulnerability and the fear of change was co-written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who plays protagonist Will's best buddy.
