Come and Try Dragon Boating with Diamond Phoenix Dragon Boat Club

Have you ever wanted to try dragon boating? It’s a great way to build your fitness and make new friends. Diamond Phoenix, an all-women dragon boat club, is committed to helping women get fitter and stronger no matter their age or fitness level. Come and “Give it a Go”, your first month is free on the Dragon Pass.
We are holding two Come and Try sessions, on 13th and 20th September from 11.00-12.30. These sessions will give you a chance to get in the boat with an experienced coach, a bunch of first timers, and some seasoned paddlers. We will follow up with a free BBQ. This will give you a chance to chat with some of our members, other new paddlers, and find out more about dragon boating.
Wear leggings/shorts, T-shirt and shoes that you don’t mind getting wet (no open toed sandals or thongs). Don’t forget your water bottle, sunscreen, hat, and something warm to wear afterwards. It’s pretty likely you will get wet. We will provide a paddle and life jacket.
