Beyond Our Walls — October 6–11
This year we we are going to take a week to step Beyond Our Walls and serve our community in practical, loving ways. From writing cards to serving meals, from trimming trees to packing lunches, there are so many opportunities for everyone to get involved.
Whether you want to serve in-person once or multiple events or contribute needed items, your involvement makes a difference!
Items Needed (Drop off at C3 by Sunday, October 5)
Creamy Peanut Butter 48 oz (Sam’s/Costco)
Jelly 30 oz jars
White Bread
40 ct. Cases of Water
50 ct. Cases of Chips (Sam’s/Costco)
Individually Packed Snacks (cookies, crackers, fruit snacks, applesauce, granola bars, etc.)
Sealable Sandwich Bags 100 ct
Brown Paper Lunch Bags 100 ct
Krusteaz Pancake Mix 5 lb bag
Syrup 24 oz

October 6 – Cards of Compassion (Family Friendly)
C3 Church Lobby | 10am – 6:30pm
Write cards for First Responders, Veterans, and Senior Citizens. Drop them in the completed buckets when finished.
October 7 – Simple Church Tree Trimming (Adult Only)
3043 Gender Road | Time TBD
Trim and haul away 4 trees.
October 7 – Way To Battle Support (Family Friendly)
10 E. Waterloo St Unit B, CW | 12:30pm – 2pm
Help write cards and clean up.
October 8 – StoryPoint Pumpkin Carving (Adult Only)
611 Windmiller Dr. Pickerington | 2:30pm – 4pm
Join us in helping seniors pick pumpkins, carve as needed, and enjoy apple cider together in fellowship.
October 8 – Sack Lunches for Shelters (Family Friendly)
C3 Church Lobby | 9:30am - 12pm
Come join the C3 Staff and assemble 500 lunches for shelters!
October 9 – Hope Center Meal Serving (Adult Only)
3043 Gender Road | Time TBD
Deliver and serve a prepared meal. Option to help with prep or just serve.
October 9 – Freedom Collective Drop-In Center Takeover (Adult Only)
Address provided to registrants | 5:30pm – 8pm
Clean, stock, organize, prep food, write cards, and spruce up outside.
October 10 – Ronald McDonald House Dinner (Adult Only)
Ronald McDonald House | 3:15pm – 7pm
We will be serving a dinner at the Ronald McDonald House.
October 10 – CWHS Volunteering (Adult Only)
Canal Winchester High School | 5:30pm – 7pm
We will be helping with various tasks around the building.
October 11 – Open Shelter Breakfast (Adult Only)
Time | 8:30am - 11:30am
Meet at C3 at 8:30 am (Carpool to Open Shelter)
Serve Pancakes, Sausages, Fruit, and Water at 9:30 am.
October 11 – Huckleberry House Brunch (Adult Only)
Time | 11:15am - 2pm
5981 Chatterton Rd. | Arrive 11:15 am, Serve at 12 pm
Serving Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage Patties, Fruit, and Water.
