We meet weekly on Sundays, 9:30am, with some exceptions.

If unable to get down to the yurt due to weather conditions, we will gather in the sanctuary cabin. A sign will be posted at the top of the path as to where we will meet. Please park in the semi-circle driveway this winter/early spring. You can also park over by the garage, but please do not park in front of the garage doors. 🙏

Awakening to the Heart is delighted to host a Group Meditation Practice & Heart-Centered Open Sangha held at the sanctuary. Our open sangha is not tied to any lineage or set of teachings-it is an intentional heart-centered community that welcomes individuals from all spiritual backgrounds and traditions. No experience necessary. Beginners are most welcome to join us, along with those more seasoned in meditation practice!
Our practice begins with an invocation, contemplative prayer or devotional music, then sounding of the temple bell and a 30-minute silent meditation, followed by group sharing/discussion.
Cynthia Scrimshaw & Norman Scrimshaw lead the group meditation practice.

** If you are a beginner to silent meditation sittings, or wish to refine your current meditation practice, Norman is offering monthly meditation guidance on Saturday mornings at 10am. (This is a free offering.)
