Experience Live Music in the Ainsley House Garden!
Join us for an enchanting afternoon with Ren Geisick, a celebrated Bay Area singer-songwriter known for her soulful blend of jazz, Americana, blues, and country. Ren grew up in Los Gatos and earned her degree in Jazz Vocal Performance from The Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at Cal-State Long Beach. She released her debut album Ren, Love Song in 2017, produced by folk/pop powerhouse Jesse Harris, which showcased her original music and marked a move toward a more Americana sound.
During the pandemic, Ren taught herself ukulele and guitar, live-streaming performances from home. In 2022, she released the Ruby EP, inspired by her Grandma Ruby’s life and catchphrases. She’s now putting the finishing touches on a new 2025 album recorded with her band in Brisbane, CA, featuring songs about outlaws, heartache, and mercy—her most authentic work yet.
A recipient of the Ella Fitzgerald Scholarship and named an Outstanding Jazz Vocalist by DownBeat Magazine, Ren’s luscious voice brings powerful stories of family, love, and sorrow to life. When she’s not performing, she teaches jazz voice at San Jose State University.
Don’t miss this intimate performance in the beautiful Ainsley House Garden—an afternoon of music that will warm your heart and stir your soul!
