WHY? It’s National Forest Week!
WHAT: Free event - “Mycelium of Resilience: From Seed to Canopy” - come learn how fungus fosters and destroys forests while maintaining overall ecosystem resiliency! We will identify, learn to identify and talk about the ecological processes of different fungi that we find. Join Heather Soo- Canadian Institute of Forestry resident mushroom fan, and special guest Kent Brothers, local mycologist. Open to all ages and interest levels :)
