3rd Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner with Friends

Volunteers from the Camp Point United Methodist Church will be hosting Thanksgiving dinner, inspired by Luke 14:12-14. 12 He said also to the one who had invited him, “When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers and sisters or your relatives or rich neighbors, in case they may invite you in return, and you would be repaid. 13 But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. 14 And you will be blessed because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

The dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day at noon in the fellowship hall. All are welcome, specifically those who are alone, without family, or are suffering hardship of any kind preventing them from enjoying the holiday. Flyers will be shared at local businesses and please feel free to invite someone. We will be accepting reservations through the church office until November 20th.
