Join us this fall on Saturday September 27th ( rain date Sunday October 5th) at Graceful Acres, 193A Ridge Road Halifax PA 17032, to ride the private trails that are only open for you to enjoy during this event! A marked course of 4-5 miles through fields and woods will be waiting for you. First riders out at 9 am and last riders out at 1pm. We are NOT doing a sign up for this ride. Show up, register, then come to the starting area. Teams will go out in 10 min intervals.
For the jumpers we will have loads of stadium and XC style jumps along the trail and for the western riders we are going to incorporate some obstacle challenge obstacles for those of you who want to challenge yourself and horses.
All jumps and obstacles are optional for all riders.
The trail will be welcoming to barefoot horses, unlike our Ride the Mountain event, this ride is mainly through fields with some wooded sections.
A paperchase is a fun way to go take a trail ride with friends along a well marked trail and have a little competition element added in! There will be an ideal time for each division that will be posted after the ride and from which the winners are determined.

Our divisions are as follows… teams of 1-4 riders
Junior over fences
Open over fences
Junior Flat
Open Flat
Pleasure ( this division is more focused on those of you who would like to do the obstacles)
Top 3 teams in each division will receive ribbons.
Junior teams must have at least 1 rider 16 or under to be eligible for the junior divisions
We HIGHLY recommend that those of you who would like to ride the course at a faster pace than just trot and walk come early between 9-11 and those riders who are going to walk/trot come between 11-1. This helps everyone have a great time and not worry about having lots of teams need to pass you. Those of you who do need to pass a team, please be respectful.
Proceeds from this event will go towards the non-profit Graceful Acres. A horse therapy program that encourages healing and growth through horsemanship. You can check out their Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to learn more about what they do to help youth and persons with disabilities!
$40 per rider payable by cash, Venmo or PayPal at the event.
